Sydney Clark, B.S., LMT, CNS
#MA 96886
Neurosomatic Therapist
Sydney Clark was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she developed an early fascination with health and the human body, leading her to pursue a career in medicine. Sydney attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Applied Physiology in 2018.
During her time in college, Sydney performed research in human neuromuscular physiology and completed her thesis in biology researching the protein fibrils of neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, she helped run a clinical trial for a mobile application for mental health intervention. Her wide array of studies and experience was fueled by her search for the area of medicine she felt would bring the greatest impact to her future patients.
Sydney was first introduced to Neurosomatic Therapy in 2013, but it wasn't until she was treated by a Neurosomatic Therapist for her chronic migraines during college that she recognized the extent of the disconnect between anatomy and physiology in traditional medicine. Upon graduating college, Sydney worked as a medical assistant at an Internal Medicine practice in Atlanta, which opened her eyes to the huge potential to incorporate structural health into mainstream medicine. With this goal in mind, Sydney enrolled as a student at the Center for Neurosomatic Studies in 2019 and has never looked back! Now a certified Neurosomatic Therapist at St. John- Clark Pain Treatment Center, Sydney loves helping her patients become aware of how their posture affects their symptoms, and what they can do to live happier, healthier lives.
