How Our Assessment Works

Before any hands-on work begins, we take the time to understand how your body is functioning as a whole. Every plan of care follows three steps:

Assess. An in-depth interview about your symptoms and history, followed by a thorough postural and gait analysis. Your measurements are charted to help locate hidden sources of pain and to track your progress over time.
Treat. Non-invasive manual therapy that targets soft-tissue imbalances in the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and joint mobilization.
Prevent. A personalized program of stretches and strengthening exercises, plus educational resources, to help keep your pain from coming back.

Paul St. John, LMT, CNST – Founder of Neurosomatic Therapy and our Director of Research. A former Special Forces combat medic, Paul was named Massage Therapist of the Year by the Florida State Massage Therapy Association in 1987.
Randall Clark, B.S., LMT, CNST – Co-founder of Neurosomatic Therapy and President of St. John–Clark Pain Treatment Center. Since 2012, Randall has helped develop and teach NST through clinical practice and the Center for Neurosomatic Studies.
Brennan Rhodes, LMT, CNS – Senior Neurosomatic Therapist. Before NST, Brennan worked as a wellness coordinator, and he has spent years helping run a medical mission in Treasure Beach, Jamaica.
Sydney Clark, B.S., LMT, CNS – Neurosomatic Therapist with a biology degree from Georgia Tech and a background in neuromuscular physiology research. Sydney focuses on finding the source of pain and teaching patients how posture affects their symptoms.
Ashley Peeler, LMT, CNS – Neurosomatic Therapist who pairs hands-on NST with practical guidance on anatomy, sleep, stretching, exercise and nutrition.
