Neurosomatic Therapist

Yoga Tune Up® Teacher

Heather Longoria is an avid student of the human body, and she loves to share what she has learned with her patients. She uses her training as a Neurosomatic Therapist and yoga teacher to help her patients improve proprioception, reduce pain, and return to doing the things they love.

Heather's studies of the human body began several years ago when she started following an "ancestral health" model. She realized that eating whole foods, moving the body often (with compassionate attention), and incorporating mindfulness into daily life was a powerful antidote to stress, anxiety, pain, and lack of energy.

Heather wanted an avenue to share this information with others, so she became a certified yoga instructor, and then furthered her education with Yoga Tune Up® training- a movement modality that focuses on conscious corrective exercise and brain-stimulating novel movements. This training sparked Heather's desire to learn more about anatomy and manual therapy, which led her to the Center for Neurosomatic Studies, where she graduated at the top of her class. Heather is also FMT RockPods Certified.
