Frequently Asked Questions

No time to call us, but you’ve got a burning question? Check our list of frequently asked questions to see if the answer is here.

What are the hours of operation?

8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Where are you located?

Our address is 13825 Icot Blvd, Suite 600, Clearwater, FL 33760.  For directions feel free to call 727-347-HEAL(4325).

What do you do?

We perform Neurosomatic Therapy. We determine where the problem is coming from and address it.

What happens in the first appointment?

We do an exam, measurements and treatment. We also can review any and all past MRI’s, X-rays or CAT scans. Having the films would be very helpful, but if you can only get the report that is helpful too; the more information we have the better.

How many therapists do you have?

We have ten therapists total. Paul St. John, the founder of Neuromuscular Therapy, Randall Clark, Brunella Lucchi, Kevin Wade, Ken Abrahamson, Shila Tirabassi, Megan Moore, Frank Mazzella, Alta Schwab, and Daniel Vidal.  All therapists are highly trained to treat most pain conditions.

What do I need to provide if I am planning to file as PIP/ Worker’s Comp Insurance Coverage?

Before you are first seen at the clinic you will need a prescription from your doctor. That prescription must have:

  • Prescription written for "Manual Therapy".

  • Diagnosis codes for the areas we need to treat.

  • Duration and Frequency of visits, e.g. 2 times a week for 6 weeks.

  • Physician’s NPI number.

Once you arrive for your first appointment you will need to fill out:

  • Intake sheet.

  • Specific form for auto of work comp case.

  • Assignment of benefit form.

  • Attorney letter of protection form.

  • Standard disclosure form.

These forms MUST be completed before the patient leaves the office on the first visit and signed in BLUE INK.

Does health insurance pay for treatment?

Patients do pay on day of service but we do provide procedure codes on the invoice that can be submitted to your insurance company. It does help to get a prescription for Neuromuscular Therapy or Manual Therapy with the specific diagnosis codes specifying where you are having pain. Insurance companies prefer to see diagnosis codes from the doctor and procedure codes from us for the optimum chance of getting your treatment paid for.

What Is Pain?

Pain is a signal from your body that something is wrong.

What Are Your Choices?

You can either mask that signal with body-altering drugs OR you can treat the source of the pain. The St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center specializes in identifying the source of your pain by utilizing the most up-to-date non-invasive treatment available. Our staff will identify the problem and develop a protocol to not only eliminate the pain but prevent future occurrence.
